OUTDOOR

Picture
Gary,
We don’t have a simple explanation for how we sell outdoor, so I’m going to give you the long answer.

We sell audience/exposures.  If you have a client who is looking for coverage in Wayne County or say Preble County, we sell what are referred to as showing.  We start with a group of boards that generate a 25 Gross Rating Points.  This is all determined by the size of the market.  If (for example) Wayne County were 100,000 people, then it is simply a matter of determining how many boards it takes to generate 25,000 people or 25% of the market.  Therefore, in Richmond/Wayne County we sell a minimum of 3 boards at once.  In Preble County we sell a two board minimum.  We typically don’t see single boards except on the interstate and those require a 12 month commitment.

Outdoor consist of two different cost.  The first is the rental cost of the billboards.  The second is the production cost of the material.  The rental cost vary from $321/mo. for a non-illuminated board in some markets to as high as $461/mo. for an illuminated board.  The production cost of posters depends on how many posters are printed at one time.  This can very between $80 each to $150 for a single poster.

Interstate billboards go between $400 and $1,500 per month depending where the board is located.

Obviously, the most important determination is based on results/ROI.  Being as busy as we are and having customers come back time after time, I think the proof is in the pudding that outdoor works.  It is all in how you use it and where or not you have a good compelling proposition for customers.

I hope this helps.  If you have any more questions, please let me know what they are.
Thanks,
Richard Peterson

We have a few different ad sizes that are available and I will you the general quote on what it would the CPM would be for each size on the pal-item. This pricing is based on run of site per thousand

300x600-  $14 cpm

300x250-$8 cpm

I have attached size examples that show the different sizes. We do have some high impact ad placement as well such as mobile 1st impression, homepage pushdown and other rich media banners.

Let me know if you have any other questions. I look forward to working with you.
Thanks,
Mary
Thanks, Mary.
Just to confirm. So, for example...if they scheduled 20,000 impressions a month for a 300 x 600 ad, the cost would be: $280/month?  ($14 x 20 = $280)
Is that correct? Also, I wondered if you accept GIFs or just still images?
Thanks,
Gary
Yes that is correct  we can take a GIF image
Thanks,
Mary
BUDGET: $280/month x 12 months = $3,360.00
Every other month: $1,680.00
